West Jefferson Jubilee: A Toast to the Future - Fundraising Night to Benefit Neuroscience at West Jefferson Medical Center

The West Jefferson Hospital Foundation is excited to announce Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects Healthcare Design Group as Presenting Sponsor for the West Jefferson Jubilee – A Toast to the Future fundraising night in October.

Marrero, LA (March 29, 2021) – The West Jefferson Jubilee: A Toast to the Future presented by Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects Healthcare Design Group will be held Friday, October 8 at the beautiful English Turn Golf & Country Club. This exciting evening will feature live and silent auctions and live music by Groovy 7 all in a grand effort to raise funds for the Neuroscience Department at West Jefferson Medical Center (West Jefferson). We will be raising our glasses to toast to our dedicated physicians, nurses and staff and to celebrate the future of West Jefferson which includes a multi-million-dollar, state-of-the-art campus renovation.

The highlight of the event will be the recognition of Dr. Frank Culicchia as the second recipient of the Frank C. Di Vincenti, MD Community Leadership Award. “We are thrilled to recognize Dr. Frank Culicchia for his longstanding commitment to delivering the highest level of neurological care to patients in our region. With Dr. Culicchia’s leadership and vision, West Jefferson Medical Center has become the recognized leader for the diagnosis and treatment of complex neurological conditions,” says Rob Calhoun, President and CEO of West Jefferson.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the purchase of a Gamma Knife for the Neuroscience Department at West Jefferson. Gamma Knife radiosurgery is a precise and non-invasive treatment for patients with brain tumors and neurological disorders that will help hundreds of patients annually in our area. “West Jefferson Medical Center has always been committed to providing the latest in medical treatments and technology for the highest possible care for our patients,” says West Jefferson Jubilee Co-Chair and President of the West Jefferson Hospital Foundation, Tina Dandry-Mayes. “We are so thankful for partners like Sizeler Thompson Brown Architects for investing in the health of our community and joining us for this year’s festivities.”
