Raises $3K to help University Medical Center's homeless initiative
Little Extras > Teo Hammer, 13, raises $3K to help University Medical Center's homeless initiative.
Teo was moved to action after seeing homelessness on his commute to school in the mornings. He raised money to purchase toiletries and other personal items that he packaged up into kits and presented to UMC. "Inside these kits are the essentials, like personal hygiene kits, a change of clothes, and I hope that these can help somebody out there, put a smile on their face," said Teo.
"They certainly will," said, Dr. Peter Deblieux, Chief Experience Officer at University Medical Center. "It will make their challenges less."
