Her clinical and research interests include cardiac arrest prevention, post-operative care for critically ill infants with congenital heart disease, and improving clinical outcomes for infants with single ventricle congenital cardiac disease.
Dr. Hansen chose to practice in the cardiac intensive care unit because she enjoys taking care of critically ill children and helping the families of her patients through the stressors of cardiac surgery.
