Dr. Amanda Dumas earned her medical degree from University of Alabama in Birmingham and completed residency at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. Dr. Dumas completed a fellowship in pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.
Dr. Dumas chose to practice pediatrics because “although almost every specialty I trained with during medical school was fascinating in its own way, I could not escape the way pediatrics also pulled at my heart. Children, and the families raising them, inspire me to do my best. Also, children are just fun to be around...even when (or sometimes especially when) they're teenagers.”English
