Tulane Medical Center hereby provides public notice that if an individual has concerns about patient care and safety in the hospital that the hospital has not addressed, the individual is encouraged to contact the hospital's Patient Relations Department at 504-988-5934.
If the concerns cannot be resolved through Tulane Medical Center, the individual is encouraged to contact the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations by either calling 1-800-994-6610 or email The Joint Commission
Report on quality
It’s possible to measure the quality of patient care provided by
hospitals. Federal law requires that hospitals report data, which enables
us to see how we’re doing in comparison with other hospitals here
and across the nation. The staff of Tulane Medical Center and Tulane-Lakeside
Hospital critically review performance in areas on a regular basis and
then work to establish action steps to continuously improve patient care.
