Jennifer Eslinger named COO of Tulane Medical Center

Jennifer Eslinger will join Tulane Medical Center as Chief Operating Officer with appointment effective May 28. Eslinger comes to TMC from Menorah Medical Center in the Midwest Region of the LCMC Health MidAmerica Division, where she served as COO since 2010.

Eslinger’s selection was announced this week by Robert Lynch, MD, Tulane Medical Center CEO. "Jennifer is an experienced leader who has extensive experience in ambulatory and acute care management," Lynch said. "I am thrilled to welcome her to our hospital team. She will be a tremendous asset to the growth of Tulane Medical Center.”

In addition to her role as COO of Menorah, Eslinger’s experience includes serving as Executive Vice President/COO of St. Francis Health Center in Topeka, Kansas; COO and Chief Development Officer of South Fulton Medical Center in Atlanta; and in roles including business development and diagnostic imaging administrator for HealthSouth in Birmingham, Ala.

Her educational background includes a master of business administration degree from Terry College of Business at the University of Georgia and a bachelor’s degree in English and Communication from Georgia Southern University.

In addition to providing her strong leadership skills to healthcare, Eslinger also contributes her time and talents to community organizations such as the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association and community improvement projects.

Eslinger expressed her enthusiasm for her new role, “I am excited to work with Tulane Medical Center’s outstanding team of medical staff and dedicated leaders,” she said. “Tulane is an extraordinary healthcare and teaching facility and I look forward to advancing the organization and serving the New Orleans community.”
