University Medical Center’s Danny Hardman named to Becker’s Hospital Review’s Academic Medical Center CEOs to Know in 2020

New Orleans, LA – University Medical Center New Orleans’ Danny Hardman has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review, a national healthcare publication, as one of 2020’s Academic Medical Center’s CEOs to Know.

In naming Danny to this list, Becker notes his focus on the quality, operational capacity, new service growth, and population health at University Medical Center.

Danny became CEO of University Medical Center in June 2019 and leads a 2,600 member staff and growth of the $1.2 billion medical centers. He joined the health system after serving as COO and CNO of Christus Spohn Shoreline, a 557-bed hospital and Level II Trauma Center, and the 341-bed Christus Spohn Memorial.

University Medical Center is one of five hospitals that comprise LCMC Health. In addition to serving as an academic hub for the New Orleans region, the hospital includes a Level I Trauma Center and Burn Center.
