Dr. Kang received her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Louisiana State University (LSU), Baton Rouge, LA, in 1993, and her medical degree from LSU School of Medicine, Shreveport, LA, in 1997. She completed her internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, in 1998. In 2000, she completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Branch and became a Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellow in 2003.
