Make your gift in honor or memory of a loved one or West Jefferson caregiver who made an impact in your life. If making your gift online, be sure to include the name of the individual being recognized and the name and address of the individual who should receive an acknowledgement card recognizing your kindness (gift amount will not be included in acknowledgement card).

Your gift of stock can be transferred to the WJH Foundation by providing transfer instructions to your broker.

To help us track your securities transfer in a timely manner, please inform the Foundation office at 504.349.6663 of the stock you intend to transfer, the purpose of your gift, and your broker’s name.

Planned gifts to WJH Foundation help ensure that West Jefferson patients will continue to receive the best available care beyond our lifetime. Some planned gifts to WJH Foundation can help reduce taxes and in some cases, preserve valuable assets for loved ones. Be sure to speak with your financial advisor about your options.

Contact WJH Foundation to discuss naming opportunities throughout West Jefferson. Depending on your level of support, you can name a waiting area in a clinic or hospital, exam rooms, treatment rooms, to name a few. A plaque will be displayed with your name, family name, business, etc. (varies according to gift level).

Gifts to the Friends of West Jeff fund provide unrestricted support to help continue growth and expansion of West Jefferson programs and allow for immediate use of funds for the greatest needs at a moments notice.

Your gifts to the Cancer Center are an investment in cancer patients and their families while strengthening our clinical, educational and service programs to address the cancer health disparities unique to the West Bank region and beyond.

The Care House was designed to benefit families whose loved ones are being cared for in the critical care nursing units at West Jefferson. It gives them a complimentary, comfortable place to stay near the hospital while they wait for their loved ones to recover. Unique to West Jefferson, the Pediatrics ER is the only pediatric emergency department in the region and serves over 84,000 patients and their families annually. WJMC Pediatrics ER is owned by WJMC and staffed by Children’s Hospital. Your investment in the Pediatrics ER helps to provide resources that maintain and improve the facilities needed to care for children from birth to 18.

Thanks to the very best state-of-the-art rehab care on the West Bank, Rehab Services at West Jefferson's Inpatient Rehab and West Jeff Rehab Center help to provide the tools for patients to gain independence and a better quality of life. Your support of rehab services enhances our patients’ rehab experience on their road to recovery.

Designated as Louisiana’s first Nationally Certified Primary Stroke Center in 2006, West Jefferson is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center with a full stroke team on call 24/7 to immediately care for patients with stroke symptoms. Investing in the Stroke Center is an investment in the critical care needed for long-term success in improving outcomes for the stroke patients West Jefferson serves.

The Women’s Health Center provides a multitude of services specific to women’s health care needs in a warm and welcoming environment - from Obstetrics and midwifery to gynecology and wellness. Support of the Women’s Health Center provides additional resources to continue to enhance the best care available by providing a wide range of services for women of all ages.
