LCMC Health to host Hispanic Community Day for COVID-19 vaccinations

WHAT: LCMC Health is encouraging the Hispanic community to come to the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center to get vaccinated Monday, April 5. Data shows that the Hispanic population has been largely affected by the pandemic’s infection rate and vaccines are the pathway to herd immunity.
- Extra translators will be on-site to assist with communications
- Our LCMC Health vaccines website is translated into Spanish
- There is no need to present identification. Proof of insurance is not required
- Free parking is available across Convention Center Boulevard in parking lot F, accessible from Calliope Street. UBER is also offering free transportation for residents of Orleans and Jefferson Parish
