About Dr. Roth

Dr. Christopher Roth specializes in Pediatric Urology at Children’s Hospital. He received his medical degree from LSU Health Shreveport and completed his residency training at LSU Health New Orleans and Ochsner Clinic Foundation. Dr. Roth then completed his fellowship training in Pediatric Urology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. Dr. Roth is certified by the American Board of Urology and serves on the faculty at LSU Health New Orleans as an Assistant Professor of Urology.

When asked why he chose practice Pediatric Urology, Dr. Roth said, “I felt I could help make a difference. I was a resident during Hurricane Katrina, and I witnessed the loss of talented physicians from our area. At the time I left to do my fellowship, Dr. Ortenberg was the only Pediatric Urologist in all of south Louisiana. I wanted to come back to not only help be a part of the Urology team, but to also help Children’s Hospital serve the pediatric health needs of our region. I’m proud of what we have accomplished as a Urology team, and I am also proud to be a part of the premier pediatric facility in Louisiana and the Gulf South.”
