Diane Sieta has been named the 2026 recipient of the Frank C. Di Vincenti, MD Community Leadership Award. The West Jefferson Hospital Foundation will honor Ms. Sieta with the award at its West Jefferson Jubilee cocktail reception and fundraiser on November 6, 2026 at the Hyatt Regency in New Orleans.

Ms. Sieta has dedicated nearly four decades of service to West Jefferson Medical Center, building a career centered on leadership, volunteerism, and compassion. Ms. Sieta first joined West Jefferson in 1986 in the Patient Access Department, before helping launch West Jefferson’s first Managed Care Department. As the Westbank business community expanded, she coordinated Business Advantage, promoting West Jefferson’s air care and occupational health services, while acting as the liaison for Avondale Shipyards, Central Healthcare, and other offshore companies. In 2010, Ms. Sieta was promoted to Director of Patient Access for West Jefferson Medical Center, and later Touro as well. In 2023, she joined Revenue Cycle where she now oversees reimbursement and denial prevention.

The Frank C. Di Vincenti, MD Community Leadership Award is given annually to recognize an individual for his or her excellence in leadership, volunteerism, dedicated community engagement, and exemplary service to West Jefferson Medical Center.

Known for her servant leadership, Ms. Sieta is often the first to step in wherever help is needed. She currently serves as member of the West Jefferson Hospital Foundation and plays an active role on planning committees such as Family Fest.

In addition to her volunteerism, Ms. Sieta leads the hospital’s emergency preparedness team, helping ensure that the hospital remains fully staffed, coordinated and prepared during times of crisis, including hurricanes. Her leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic exemplified her dedication to both the hospital and the Westbank community. From the first reported case through mass testing and vaccination efforts, Ms. Sieta was instrumental in organizing West Jefferson’s initial drive-through testing sites as the community needs continued to grow.

Ms. Sieta is widely respected as a mentor and role model to colleagues across the hospital and LCMC Health System. Elizabeth McIlwain, Clinical Director at West Jefferson Medical Center says, “Diane leads from the front, being the example to those in her department and departments around her. Her position interacts with most disciplines inside the WJMC family. She makes it a priority to have a personal, working relationship with each and every leader no matter what the discipline. She is truly someone who loves her job and it shows through her efforts and general positivity every day.”

Ms. Sieta is known for her commitment to West Jefferson and her passion for the community it serves. She loves gardening, New Orleans festivals, and game nights with her family. In her spare time, she has worked at festivals for Patton’s Caters for 55 years, reflecting the same dedication and work ethic to everything she does. She has two children and is the proud grandmother of Andrew, Catherine, Aidan, and Nathan.

The West Jefferson Hospital Foundation looks forward to honoring Diane Sieta with this well-deserved award.
