Randall D. Craver, MD

About Dr. Craver

Dr. Randall Craver is Board certified in Anatomic, Clinical and Pediatric Pathology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas and completed his residency at LSU at Charity Hospital in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. He completed a Chemistry Fellowship at LSU, and a Pediatric Pathology Fellowship at the British Columbia Children’s Hospital. He has directed the Laboratories at Children’s Hospital in New Orleans since 1985 and has been responsible for the development of a full-service laboratory. In addition to providing clinical service, he is involved in teaching (residents and fellows in Pathology from Tulane and LSU, fellows in Hematology, Nephrology, and Neurology), and has directed a Pediatric Pathology Fellowship Program based at Children’s Hospital. He actively publishes clinical research and is presently the editor of ‘Fetal and Pediatric Pathology’. His specific interests include: Renal Pathology, Ultrastructural Pathology, Muscle and Neuro Pathology, Placental and Perinatal Pathology, and Clinical Chemistry.
