West Jefferson Hospital Foundation announces new executive committee for Board of Directors

Teri Tucker (pictured) was newly elected as President for West Jefferson Hospital Foundation.

The West Jefferson Hospital Foundation has elected a new executive committee. The West Jefferson Hospital Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) charitable organization whose mission is to raise philanthropic funds to help enhance patient care at West Jefferson Medical Center. This newly appointed executive committee members bring a wealth of experience and deep commitment to the Foundation’s mission.

The new executive leadership for the West Jefferson Hospital Foundation includes:

Teri Tucker (President) is Vice President and a Business Banking Officer for Bonvenu Bank. She has been in banking for 45 years and loves helping others with their financial needs and developing new relationships. Teri serves on several boards and currently as Executive Vice President for Westbank Business & Industries Association (WBIA) and Co-Chair of the Government and Environmental Committee. She is on the Board of Commissioners for Jefferson Parish Economic Development Commission (JEDCO) and served as President for the Gretna Economic Development Association (GEDA) for the past 2 years and presently as Ex officio.

Teri has lived on the Westbank all her life. She enjoys the outdoors, hanging out with family and friends, and enjoys her two beautiful grandchildren Charlotte Rae and Tucker James.

Russell "Rusty" Autry (Vice President) is the founder/owner of The Olive Branch Cafe. Rusty has guided his restaurant's success for over 28 years and now operates 2 locations in Marrero and Algiers. Rusty is a native Westbanker. He graduated from John Ehret High School and the University of New Orleans with a degree in Political Science. He sits on several advisory boards and is active in his church. He and his wife of 28 years raised three children and enjoy spending time together as a family. His commitment to his community is unwavering. Rusty's slogan is Westbank Born - Raised - Proud.

Jean Kass (Secretary/Treasurer) is newly elected to the Executive Board of the West Jefferson Hospital Foundation. Jean is President of KASS Construction, a second-generation, family-owned business where she has worked for over 30 years. A graduate of St. Mary’s Dominican High School and the University of New Orleans, Jean is active in several local business, industry, and charitable organizations. She’s proud to support her community both professionally and personally.
