University Medical Center Pharmacy Residency Programs
University Medical Center New Orleans (UMCNO) offers two comprehensive, 52-week training programs designed to cultivate the clinical expertise and professional skills necessary for pharmacists to excel in diverse healthcare settings. Located in the heart of New Orleans, our programs offer unique opportunities for residents to work alongside learners from the Louisiana State University (LSU) Health Sciences Center and Tulane University School of Medicine to provide care for a variety of patient populations across a broad range of clinical disciplines.

Program goals
Upon completion of a pharmacy residency program at UMCNO, graduates will have the skills and knowledge to:
- Provide high-quality pharmaceutical care in diverse clinical environments

- Demonstrate leadership within the pharmacy profession
