Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer (LGBTQ) Pride Month is celebrated annually in June to honor the 1969 Stonewall Uprising in Manhattan and works to achieve equal justice and equal opportunity for LGBTQ Americans.

The purpose of the commemorative month is to recognize the impact and accomplishments that LGBTQ individuals have had on local, national, and international history. Pride Month acknowledges the struggle for civil rights and fundamental human rights that the LGBTQ+ community have worked tirelessly to achieve.

As committed allies, we stand united with our LGBTQ+ community, not just in June, but all year long.
