About Dr. Jabbar
I completed my Bachelor of Science in Biology Pre-Med at Xavier University in New Orleans and earned my Master’s in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University in Miami, Florida. I received my medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC.
I completed my internal medicine residency at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas, followed by general cardiology and interventional cardiology fellowships at Tulane University Heart and Vascular Institute in New Orleans.
I am board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and nuclear cardiology, and I am a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. My research interests focus on revascularization strategies for coronary and peripheral chronic total occlusions. I also have a passion for teaching and was honored with several awards during medical school.
