Camille M. Robinson, MD

About Dr. Robinson

I was born and raised in New Orleans, LA and did my undergraduate studies at the University of Virginia. After college, the goal of becoming bilingual pulled me to Argentina for a year. Ultimately, I returned to the United States to pursue a degree in medicine. I had always been drawn towards medicine from my family members who served as role models and was ready to commit to the career after living abroad.

I have been particularly interested in underserved populations and immigrant communities. Growing up with a mother who immigrated from Colombia at the age of 10, I am passionate about the Latino community and the hardships they, and other immigrants, face when relocating to an unknown country with language barriers.

I strive to be the best listener and advocate for my patients daily. I am thankful for the trust patients give me to be included in their personal moments. I love women’s health and the variety of care I can provide in the different clinic, surgery and labor and delivery settings. 

I care about my patients and make it my mission to treat everyone as I would treat my family. I promise to listen and find solutions when problems arise. My goal is to make our community a safe and happy place. 

My little something extra:
I chose to return to New Orleans to raise my family surrounded by the culture and community I love. Outside of work, I enjoy the city’s music and food, traveling, soccer and cheering on the Saints!
