About Dr. Kriel
My background in engineering first drew me to orthopedics because I enjoy thinking about structure, mechanics, and problem-solving. I chose pediatric orthopedics because helping children regain movement and confidence can truly change the course of their lives. I enjoy partnering with families and referring physicians to help kids return to the activities they love. I believe children and families deserve clear communication, thoughtful decision-making, and care that is tailored to each child’s needs. I focus on listening carefully, using evidence-based treatment, and working closely with families, and their pediatricians, to help every child achieve the best possible outcome.
My Little Something Extra: My little something extra is embracing everything that makes New Orleans special. I love exploring the city’s incredible food scene, spending time with family and our dog, Milkshake, and being part of such a vibrant and welcoming community
