Spinal Cord Specialty Program Highlights:
- West Jefferson maintains accreditation by The Joint Commission
- Spinal Cord Injury Specialty Program CARF accreditation since 2022
- Support Groups offered and/or referrals made as needed
- Peer Support
- Specialized Spinal Cord Injury Team including dedicated Physical Therapist/Physical Therapy Assistant, Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapist Assistant, Speech-Language Pathologist and Social Worker
- Close collaboration with the Louisiana Chapter of United Spinal Association with provision of resources, education and peer support as needed
- Leisure Activities Program, including Pet Therapy, available 6 days/week
- New technology: The Real System - Virtual Reality Rehabilitation tool
