Introducing our Substance Use Navigation Program

The Substance Use Navigation (SUN) Program will support patients with substance use disorder by helping initiate treatment in the Emergency Department, connecting patients to appropriate follow-up care and community resources, and advancing a culture of compassionate, stigma-free care.

Substance Use Navigators will partner closely this fall with Emergency Department and inpatient teams to help ensure patients with SUD experience coordinated transitions to the appropriate level of care following discharge.
