The Foundation at East Jefferson General Hospital secures philanthropic support to strengthen patient care and community health. Founded in 1969 as an independent 501(c)(3), The Foundation funds programs, services, technology, and capital projects that enhance the not‑for‑profit hospital’s mission.
Donors contribute in many ways—individually, through corporations, event sponsorships, designated gifts, tributes, asset transfers, and bequests. Every gift makes a meaningful impact on the patients and community we serve.
Ways to give to The Foundation
The Foundation is pleased to offer several giving opportunities to donors, community members, team members, physicians and volunteers. Honorary and memorial gifts
To honor the memory of a loved one, pay tribute to a special friend, or remember a special event, an honorary or memorial gift celebrates both the individual and life itself. Honorary and Memorial gifts are recognized on a special board in front of the chapel.
Grateful patient giving
Sometimes words can’t fully express our gratitude for exceptional care. A meaningful way to honor the caregivers at East Jefferson General Hospital is through a gift of gratitude, which helps support patients and community members in need.
