Exciting expansion plans and new service opportunities are happening with women’s health care at East Jefferson General Hospital. Coming in 2027, LCMC Health is making a significant $14 million investment that will elevate women and newborn health services on the East Bank of Jefferson Parish. Through this initiative, LCMC Health will unify the robust services currently available at both East Jefferson General Hospital and Lakeside Hospital.

Conducted by Newsweek in collaboration with Statista, the evaluation process involved a survey of healthcare professionals and hospital managers, along with an analysis of hospital quality metrics and patient experience data.
