About Robert
My healthcare journey began in 1978–1979 as a volunteer with the American Red Cross disaster units, where I discovered a calling to serve others. I later became a hospital orderly, worked my way through school and became a registered nurse. More than 20 years in emergency medicine and intensive care strengthened my clinical expertise, critical thinking and commitment to excellence. I became a family nurse practitioner to move beyond crisis intervention by building lasting relationships, preventing illness, promoting wellness and caring for the whole person. Today, through primary care integrated with behavioral health, medical missionary work and precepting future nurse practitioners, I continue to live out healthcare as a calling and ministry. Patients can count on me for evidence-based, compassionate care, attentive listening and clear communication. I treat every patient with dignity and respect, advocate for their needs, build trust and empower them to achieve their best possible health outcomes.
My little something extra:
Nursing is a ministry to me. I blend the science of medicine with the art of nursing to provide holistic, compassionate care that honors each patient’s unique perspective, personal journey and individual needs. I am privileged to support patients as they travel the path of life laid before them.
