The Stroke Awareness event will take place on 

Saturday, October 18 from 8:30am - 3pm at New Orleans East Hospital.  

Learn about stroke prevention and get an assesment to see if you are at risk for having a stroke. 

Free breakfast and lunch. 

Attendance is required for the duration of the event (8:30am - 3pm).

 Screenings:

• Blood pressure
• Heart rate
• EKG
• BMI
• Waist-hip ratio
• Cartoid ultrasound
• Transcranial doppler
• Lipid profile

*For a fastting glucose screening, abstain from eating anything before the event.
