About Dr. Goodenough

I believe that all people deserve respect and compassionate care, free of judgment, along with the most scientific, evidence-based treatments available. I strive to provide this for my patients in a relaxed setting that overlooks our beautiful city.

After completing a residency in General Psychiatry and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, I am able to treat individuals of all ages with a wide range of diagnoses. I provide medication management, psychotherapy, and collaborative care with other providers and institutions.

I am originally from Mississippi, and my interests include community pediatric mental health, particularly in Louisiana’s underserved rural areas. I work with this population both through telemedicine and face-to-face sessions with the South Central Louisiana Human Services Authority.
