About Dr. Nguyen

I am a Vietnamese-American Ophthalmologist, born and raised in New Orleans—and New Orleans through and through. I earned my Bachelor of Science with Honors in Neuroscience at Tulane University before completing my medical degree at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. I stayed at LSU for my internship and then went on to complete my Ophthalmology Residency at the LSU/Ochsner Clinic Foundation program.

After finishing my training, I returned to New Orleans East, where I grew up, to provide eye care to a community that has lacked such services since Hurricane Katrina. My goal is to provide competent, high-quality, and comprehensive eye care to patients in New Orleans East and the surrounding areas.

My little something extra

Outside of medicine, I am a passionate sports fan. I especially enjoy football, basketball, and golf, and I never miss a chance to cheer on the New Orleans Saints, Pelicans, LSU Tigers, and Tulane Green Wave.
