About Dr. Koch

I specialize in pain medicine at LCMC Health Neuroscience Center. I graduated from Jesuit High School, earned my undergraduate degree from the University of New Orleans, and received my medical degree from LSU School of Medicine.

I specialize in the treatment of chronic and recurrent pain in the neck, back, and joints. I believe the most effective approach combines a range of modalities—including medical management, physical therapy, exercise, weight loss, and interventional procedures like injections. My goal is not only to relieve pain, but also to address its root cause.

I work closely with my patients to improve their quality of life, supporting lifestyle changes while providing medical interventions. The ultimate goal is to help them return to their families, careers, and communities.

At LCMC Health Neuroscience Center, I collaborate with neurosurgeons like Dr. John Steck to ensure patients benefit from a multidisciplinary team approach. Having multiple specialties under one roof allows us to share expertise and deliver comprehensive, individualized care.
