I specialize in Gastroenterology. I love this field because of the meaningful relationships and connections I have made and will continue to make with patients and their families. I was drawn to gastroenterology because of the technical and intellectual skills it requires to provide the best care for some of the most complicated patients.

My little something extra

I was raised in New Orleans and excited to be back in the city that I love so much. When I'm not at work, I enjoy cooking, continuing to explore New Orleans through its food and restaurants, and spending time with my husband and two children.

I like the way she explained everything to me, what she was going to do. And the part that when she said that she was going to make check everything about me, you know, about my procedure. I appreciate for her for that. And I thank her very much.

I had a telecall with Dr. Pointer and she listened to everything I had to say. She was very easy to talk to and I liked her. First time I talked with her and I will be back. That's it.

Dr. Pointer is always willing to talk with you and answer any questions you may have. She is always on time with your appointment. She is always friendly and enjoy my visit with her.

Dr. Pointer is a superb physician. I don't think I could have done better for a GI doctor. She's highly recommended by my own doctor, my primary, and I was completely satisfied that of her expertise on the one hand, and on the other hand, her collegiality insofar as she was fully receptive to me and to hearing what I had to say, and we were able to have intelligent discussions of the way to proceed, and I'm quite happy with what was determined. I will see her again in a few months, see if things have changed, and I think she is a superb physician.
