I specialize in primary care. I was a nurse for many years, prior to becoming a family nurse practitioner. I have always loved talking with people and providing education. Now I can do that every day. Patients can count on me to provide extraordinary care because I view healthcare as a team effort. I ensure everyone who works with my patients is extremely involved, and I want my patients to understand our plans regarding their healthcare. My little something extra

I love to travel, both domestically and internationally. When I’m travelling around the US, we take our RV! My family loves new adventures and making memories.

Miss Lumpkin went over everything, all my medical records. She went over them twice. She made sure she got all the correct results and that I understood them and she did everything I asked.

She is absolutely wonderful and very attentive. I think I was in there for more than an hour with her talking. She knows a lot of stuff and I think she might be a doctor, but doesn't say anything. But anyway, yeah, Melissa's great. Thank you.

My feedback is that this provider is very good for me in my certain situation. Not just the nurse practitioner Lumpkin, but also the staff. I am very pleased with the healthcare that I am provided. I have recommended family and friends to the facility there at LCMC, and I will continue to use them. They have been very good at helping me to understand and to also coordinate with other physicians concerning my health. I feel like family, and I feel like they are family to me. They seem to be very concerned about my healthcare, and that is all that I really want, all that I ask for. So, yes, thank you very much.

I think Melissa Lumpkin is great. She listens to what you have to say, she gives her opinion, and she's very, very good. I wouldn't go to anyone else.
