About Melissa
Since I was a young child, I have always been fascinated by medicine. I have always known I wanted to be a healthcare provider. I choose palliative medicine because it is a unique setting for me to use my medical knowledge and my communication skills to help patients and families navigate difficult conversations and situations. I am compassionate and always try to see things from all points of view. I take care of patients and families, many who have had very bad news, or are in crisis. It is always my goal to help bring calm and kindness to these situations.
My little something extra
I love to needlepoint! My children are getting older and I was looking for a hobby to keep my mind and hands busy. When I am not working, you will likely find me listening to an audiobook and needlepointing!
