About Dr. Krause

I’ve always enjoyed helping people and have a strong aptitude for math and science, which led me to orthopedic trauma surgery—it’s a perfect fit for my personality. I love challenges, solving complex problems, and treating the whole person. Trauma offers a unique chance to restore the quality of life that patients suddenly lose. I was drawn to pelvic and acetabular fracture surgery because it’s among the most difficult procedures we do, and few surgeons take it on. I also enjoy complex and revision hip replacements, often using them to treat acetabular fractures or post-traumatic arthritis. It allows me to continue caring for the same patient throughout their journey. My patients can count on me to give 110%—I treat each one as if they were a member of my own family.

My little something extra
I’m a runner. I love to run the Crescent City Classic, which I do every year, and I love to run around Audubon Park. I want all my patients to regain the ability to pursue their own athletic dreams!
