About Dr. Lundberg

I was raised in Massachusetts and attended Boston College before completing medical school at Loyola University Chicago. During my residency in general surgery at Tulane, I fell in love with New Orleans, and after residency I pursued a fellowship in bariatric and minimally invasive surgery at St. Luke’s University in Pennsylvania.

I perform sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and revisional bariatric procedures with a personalized approach for each patient, using minimally invasive techniques to help ensure safe outcomes, minimal discomfort, and faster recovery. I am certified by the American Board of Surgery and have published extensively in both general and bariatric surgery. I also serve in leadership roles within the state and national chapters of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, where I advocate for educating patients, providers, employers, and legislators on the many benefits of weight loss surgery.

Above all, my greatest passion is building meaningful relationships with my patients. I take the time to listen, understand, and work together with each person to find the best path forward as a team.
