Zach I. Rozenbaum, MD

About Dr. Rozenbaum

In 2022, I joined Tulane University, School of Medicine as an Interventional Cardiologist and currently serve patients across the LCMC Health system. I am an Associate Professor of Medicine at Tulane University and I am the Director of the Structural Heart Disease Program at East Jefferson General Hospital.

I have authored more than 100 peer-reviewed publications, presented my work at national and international conferences, and have received multiple awards recognizing contributions to cardiovascular research.

I completed my fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City and specialized in valvular diseases at Lankenau Medical Center in Pennsylvania.  

In my clinical practice, I specialize in management of coronary artery disease as well as a broad range of structural and valvular heart conditions. My areas of expertise include: aortic stenosis treated with transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR),interventions for Mitral and Tricuspid valvular regurgitation, left atrial appendage closure, and the treatment of patent foramen ovale (PFO) and atrial septal defects (ASD).
