Zach I. Rozenbaum, MD

About Dr. Rozenbaum

I joined University Medical Center as an Interventional Cardiologist in 2022 and currently serve patients across LCMC Health. I am an Associate Professor of Medicine at Tulane University and the Director of the Structural Heart Disease Program at East Jefferson General Hospital.

I have authored more than 100 scientific publications, presented my work at national and international conferences, and have been honored with multiple awards recognizing my contributions to cardiovascular research.

I completed my Internal Medicine residency and General Cardiology fellowship at Tel-Aviv Medical Center, followed by an Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center in New York City.

In my clinical practice, I treat patients with coronary artery disease and heart attacks (acute coronary syndrome), as well as a wide range of structural and valvular heart conditions. My areas of expertise include aortic stenosis treated with transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), valvular regurgitation, patent foramen ovale (PFO), atrial septal defects (ASD), and left atrial appendage closure.
