Diagnosis and treatment
The most important aspects of beating brain cancer are detecting it as early as possible and identifying the cancer’s location with exact precision. That’s why we use the latest imaging tools – from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to positron emission tomography (PET) – to determine the specific location, shape and size of brain and spinal cord tumors.
And once identified, treatment for neurologic cancers or cancer-related conditions can include diagnostic imaging, surgery, stereotactic and conventional radiation therapy, chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and/or targeted therapy.
