Though your cancer may be rare, it doesn’t mean you’re in this alone. Our cancer care team—including board-certified oncologists, surgeons, diagnostic imaging experts, and more—has extensive experience caring for patients and the specific challenges that come with each unique rare cancer diagnosis. They’re here to support you at every step of your journey.

A cancer is considered rare when it occurs in fewer than 15 out of 100,000 people each year. Because less is known about these types of cancers, they can be more challenging to diagnose and treat than more common cancers. That’s why our program is staffed by experts with experience caring for patients with the rarest cancer cases.
We treat a range of rare cancers, including:
- Adrenal gland cancer (adrenal cortical carcinoma)
- Bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma)
- Female germ cell tumors
- Gastrointestinal lymphoma
- Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST)
- Intestine cancer (small bowel carcinoma)
- Liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma)
- Medullary and anaplastic thyroid cancer
- Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs), including bronchopulmonary tumors, thymic tumors, pancreatic tumors, and intestinal tumors)
- Sarcoma
- Stomach cancer (gastric carcinoma)
- Testicular cancer
Your cancer may be unique, but so are you. Our team of experts customizes your treatment plan to your specific needs. Treatment may involve one of more of the following:
- Advanced endoscopic therapy, including video capsule endoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic tumor resection, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), and endoscopic stent placement
- Chemotherapy, including personalized medicine
- Clinical trials
- Immune therapy
