About Dr. Aysenne

I am a board certified physician in Internal Medicine, Neurology, and Neurocritical Care, with a career dedicated to caring for critically ill neurological patients. At Tulane, I serve as Vice Chair of Clinical Neuroscience, Medical Director of Teleneurology Services, and Director of the Neurocritical Care Fellowship Program, where I combine clinical care with my passion for education and innovation.

I earned my medical degree and completed my residency training in both Neurology and Internal Medicine at Tulane University. I then pursued fellowship training in Neurocritical Care at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). My training and practice reflect a commitment to interdisciplinary care, academic excellence, and advancing healthcare delivery.

I am an active member of the Neurocritical Care Society, the American Academy of Neurology, and the American Board of Internal Medicine. Over the course of my career, I have been honored with awards for both teaching and clinical care, which highlight my dedication to mentorship, patient-centered care, and continuous learning.

My leadership style is rooted in collaboration, and I am especially passionate about expanding access to high-quality neurological care through telemedicine.
