About Dr. Naresh

I am a board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist fellowship-trained in Reproductive Infectious Diseases. After graduating from Rice University and Tulane University School of Medicine, I completed my residency and fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center – Magee Women’s Hospital.

My clinical expertise includes managing pre-cancers of the female genital tract, such as HPV-related cervical, vaginal, and vulvar dysplasia. I also treat a wide range of vulvar and vaginal conditions, including recurrent vaginitis, vulvodynia, and vulvar skin disorders like lichen sclerosus.

In addition, I specialize in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery for conditions such as pelvic pain, irregular menses, uterine fibroids, and endometriosis. Whenever possible, I focus on medical management first and use surgical treatments when they are needed.

My research centers on the prevention and treatment of HPV infection across the lifespan. I am also an active member of the ASCCP, the national organization that develops guidelines for the management of HPV infection in female-bodied persons.
