About Dr. Hinkle
I am a professor and the inaugural Oliver and Carroll Dabezies Chair in Ophthalmology at Tulane University. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering with honors from Case Western Reserve University, where I was a Provost Scholar. I received my medical degree and completed an internal medicine internship at West Virginia University. I then completed an ophthalmology residency and served as chief resident at Tulane, followed by fellowships in Ocular Immunology and Uveitis at Harvard Medical School and Vitreoretinal Surgery at Albany Medical College. I became a doctor because I enjoy helping people and value the blend of art and science in ophthalmology. My patients can count on me for extraordinary care because I never give up and always put them first.
My little something extra
