About Dr. Abdelghani

I am a New Orleans native. I completed my Internal Medicine residency at Baton Rouge General and my Pulmonary and Critical Care fellowship at Tulane University. I then went on to Harvard Medical School for my Interventional Pulmonary fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital. I am board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, Critical Care Medicine, and Interventional Pulmonology.

My passion is diagnosing lung cancer as early as possible, giving my patients the highest chance for cure. My other clinical and research interests are robotic bronchoscopy, malignant central airway obstruction, endoscopic lung volume reduction, and cryobiopsy.
