NEW ORLEANS- LCMC Health will participate in the 2026 Essence Festival of Culture® with a full weekend of free health screenings, expert-led wellness discussions and community engagement inside the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center. Festival attendees are invited to visit the LCMC Health activation for complimentary health screenings and educational resources while hearing from physicians and clinical experts on topics including women’s health, cancer prevention, heart health, behavioral health and overall wellness.
FREE HEALTH SCREENINGS
Friday, July 3–Sunday, July 5
10 am – 4 pm daily
Available screenings and education include:
- Blood pressure screenings
- Blood glucose screenings
- Body composition analysis (BIA)
- Breast cancer education
- Lung cancer education
- Colorectal cancer screening information (Cologuard®)
- Smoking cessation resources
