I love learning new things and getting to know people. One of the most rewarding aspects of medicine is the opportunity to meet patients during some of the most challenging moments of their lives. When people are facing a health crisis and you have the privilege of being involved in lifesaving procedures and treatments, you often witness the very best of humanity—resilience, courage, and compassion.

I was particularly drawn to gynecologic oncology because it combines the comprehensive, patient-centered approach of OB/GYN with the complexity of oncology. I have the opportunity to care for patients throughout their entire journey—from diagnosis through surgery, systemic therapies, and long-term follow-up. Building those lasting relationships while helping guide patients through treatment is incredibly meaningful to me.

I’m not afraid to push the envelope when it comes to advancing cancer care. Throughout my career, I’ve built a dedicated multidisciplinary team committed to one goal: ensuring that every patient has access to the most effective treatments available and the best possible chance for a cure.

We established Louisiana’s first HIPEC (Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy) program for ovarian cancer and offer access to dozens of cutting-edge clinical trials. My work in clinical research has been nationally recognized for patient enrollment, and I serve on the National Cancer Institute’s Gynecologic Cancer Steering Committee. 

I believe patients shouldn’t have to wait for the future of cancer treatment. Our mission is to bring tomorrow’s therapies to patients today.

My little something extra
I'm the mom to two wonderful dogs, Jodie Bananas Foster and Edgar Allan Poboy. I have one wonderful son, Robbie, and an incredible husband Jeff. We enjoy costuming, food and hitting the music festivals every chance we can.
