I’m drawn to vascular surgery because it brings together complex problem-solving, technical skill and the opportunity to improve patients’ quality of life. It’s rewarding to work in a field where timely, compassionate care can have such a meaningful impact on a patient’s health and future. As a vascular surgeon, I listen closely and pay attention to the details. By combining endovascular and open surgery with the best medical therapy, I
create an individualized treatment plan for each patient, with the goal of helping them achieve a better quality of life.

My little something extra: I’m hooked on New Orleans—the food, music and architecture, but most of all, the people. When I’m not at the hospital, you can find me wandering the city in search of my next great meal.
