About Chelsey
I pursued a degree in clinical psychology to support individuals in navigating psychological distress and fostering meaningful healing and change. My approach is grounded in the belief that presence, emotional attunement, nonjudgmental awareness, and cognitive flexibility are essential in shaping how we understand ourselves, make choices, and respond to life’s challenges. I provide evidence-based treatments combined with a humanistic and relational approach. I use third-wave cognitive behavioral modalities, such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I also completed basic EMDR training through the International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD).
My little something extra:
I enjoy watching old Hollywood classic films, swimming, hiking, and spending time with family. My favorite movie is "It's A Wonderful Life."
