About Stephanie

I became a healthcare provider because I have always been driven to understand the "why" behind health conditions and the factors that impact a person's well-being. Growing up and training in South Louisiana, I recognized gaps in healthcare access and wanted to be a part of the solution by helping patients achieve their best possible health. My passion for gastroenterology developed from a longstanding fascination with the digestive system and the complexity of how it influences overall wellness. I enjoy caring for patients with gastrointestinal conditions and find it especially rewarding to be able to explain to patients what is happening in their body and to help them improve their quality of life. Working alongside the LSU Gastroenterology team allows me to combine my clinical interests with a collaborative, patient-centered approach to care.

Patients can count on me to provide extraordinary care because I genuinely care about them as individuals, not just their diagnosis. I take the time to listen, answer questions, and ensure patients understand their condition and treatment options. I believe that trust, communication, and teamwork are essential to achieving the best outcomes. My goal is for every patient to feel supported, informed, and confident that they have a dedicated partner in their care.

My Little Something Extra:
I'm a huge Mardi Gras fan and look forward to Carnival season all year long. I love everything about it, the king cakes, the celebrations, the traditions, and of course the parades. When carnival season arrives, you'll likely find me Uptown on the neutral ground side with my family, enjoying every parade we can. It's one of the many things I love about living in South Louisiana and being part of such a vibrant community.
