Denise A. Pineda Fortin, MD

I’m a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who believes every patient deserves compassionate, attentive and personalized care. 

I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and my medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. I completed my residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, where I received several honors, including the Gold Humanism in Medicine Award, Gynecologic Surgical Excellence Award, John B. Franklin Award, Richard C. Gozon Compassion in Medicine Award and Chairman’s Award.
 

I’m passionate about building trusted relationships with my patients and making sure they feel heard, informed and comfortable throughout their care. I provide comprehensive women’s health services, including preventive care, family planning and contraception, menopause management, and the evaluation and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding.
 

As a bilingual physician fluent in English and Spanish, I’m proud to care for patients from diverse backgrounds and help make their healthcare experience more accessible and personal.
