About Dr. St Hilaire

Dr. Hugo St. Hilaire specializes in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and Craniofacial Surgery at Children’s hospital. He attended medical school and completed his residency training at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He then completed a fellowship in Craniofacial Surgery at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore. Dr. St. Hilaire is board-certified and has more than 16 years of experience as a Pediatric Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon. He now serves on the LSU Health New Orleans faculty as an of Associate Professor in Clinical Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. When asked why he chose to specialize in Plastic/Reconstructive and Craniofacial Surgery, Dr. St. Hilaire said, “Having the privilege to take care of children and making a difference in their lives is unique. Children’s Hospital really fosters team work, which is critical for the craniofacial care I provide.”
