About Dr. Fontenot

I specialize in general diagnostic radiology.  I always enjoyed anatomy and physiology.   As a child, I played sports and was plagued with injuries.  From that point on, I always liked medicine, especially looking at x-rays, even though they were my own.  I obtained my nursing degree where my love of radiology continued to grow.  It was then that I decided to pursue a career in medicine with radiology in mind.

As someone who has also been a patient, I can empathize with what many are feeling and use this in my interpretations and in the care I provide.

My little something extra:
I grew up in a small town in rural Louisiana on a sweet potato farm.  My family and I enjoy the outdoors when the Louisiana heat is tolerable but love traveling to other parts of the country, especially the mountains.
