Healthcare app iTriage gives patients on-the-go access to symptoms, diseases, and facility information

East Jefferson General Hospital today announced an expanded presence in the growing mobile market through a partnership with iTriage® – a consumer healthcare application that gives users quick and easy access to medical information. iTriage is available as a free download through app stores for iPhone® and Android® mobile devices, or through any Internet-enabled device at www.iTriageHealth.com.

The search for health information is going mobile according to a recent study by Manhattan Research. One in four U.S. adults used their mobile phones in the past year to find healthcare information, an increase of over 50% from the prior year. This growing consumer trend has led East Jefferson General Hospital to reach out to mobile users in the community by providing convenient access to information about its facility, services, and a variety of healthcare information.
