East Jefferson General Hospital thanks Foundation board member and Lymphomaniac founder Chad Landry for his generous contribution to East Jefferson General Hospital and its patients.

Proceeds from the 11th Annual Lymphomaniac 70’s Party funded 50, $1,000 grants for current EJGH oncology patients that qualified.

The Foundation and New Orleans Lymphomaniacs hosted a breakfast reception for the first 25 grant recipients on Friday, July 8, at the Yenni Pavilion’s Outpatient Infusion Center. Attendees included grant recipients, family members, Oncology staff, Foundation staff, and representatives from the New Orleans Lymphomaniacs: Chad Landry, Jeannette Laydret, Kenny Landry, Gwen Steger, Stacy Steger, and Samantha Steger.

The Lymphomaniac 70’s Party has grown to be one of the area’s best parties and fundraisers. Landry is a Hodgkin’s Lymphoma survivor of the EJGH Oncology Program and is the Lymphomaniac founding member. Landry, who has been in remission since 1996, decided in 2002 to hold a party with the help of friends and family in order to raise awareness and money for local cancer non-profit organizations.
